  • Delaware Children’s Museum’s “$5 After 5pm”  featuring special extended hours until 8pm, unique programming, and discounted pricing for guests visiting after 5pm.   • Civil War Battle & Camp at The Colonial Pennsylvania Plantation Saturday, September 25th and Sunday, September 26th at 3900 North Sandy Flash Dr Newtown Square, PA Witness firearm demonstrations, drills, and camp life. Watch the North try to defend the farm against the invading forces from Old Dixie. Battles on Saturday will be 12:00 and 2:30.There will be a discussion of Black Troops in the War on Saturday only at 12:45.   • Family Story Time at Ridley Township Public Library Friday September 24th 10 AM – 10:30 AM for ages 0-5Bring a blanket and join us for stories and music.  Classes will be held either outdoors in the courtyard or in the large meeting room.  Registration for this program will open one weeks prior to event.  When held indoors, masks are required for ages 2+.  Details and registration info HERE

  • Bird Walk at Newlin Grist Mill Saturday, September 25th 8 AM – 10 AM Newlin Grist Mill and Wild Birds Unlimited-Concordville have teamed up to explore the wonderful world of bird life!
    Join us for monthly naturalist-led walks through the 160-acre park at Newlin Grist Mill. We will meet year-round residents, visit exciting migrants, and learn the basics of bird identification and biology. Families and beginners are welcome for these free bird walks! A limited number of binoculars are available for use, but participants are encouraged to bring their own if they have them. Participants should meet in front of the Visitor Center.
