- Board Game Swap Meet Saturday October 9th 10 AM – 2 PM hosted by Middletown Library at Roosevelt Community Center “Do you have some games you don’t need anymore? Are you looking for new games? Do you like to see what other games are out there? If the answer to any of these questions is yes, you want to come check out the Board Game Swap Meet hosted by the Middeltown Free Library in the Roosevelt Community Center. For four hours on Saturday October 9th, the library will host an event where you can come and trade games. The focus of this event will be board games, and so it will be limited to board games only (no video games, trading card games, miniature games, or sporting equipment). No entry fee, no registration needed, just show up and look at what others have brought to the event. As per library policy, because this event will be attended by those who cannot yet be vaccinated, masks are required while in the building. Weather permitting, there is an outdoor area that can be utilized where masks would not be required. If you would like to attend and have a large number of games to trade, you may register for a table. While registration and a table does not cost anything, any donation to the new library is welcome if you are able. - Fall Fest at Morgan’s Pier in Philadelphia through October 30th at 221 N. Christopher Columbus Blvd., Philadelphia PA Al fresco dining going into the fall with the return of Morgan’s Pier Fall Fest. Located on the picturesque waterfront with the background view next to the Benjamin Franklin Bridge, Morgan’s Pier will present six weeks of great fall views, pumpkin carving, completely new fall food and drink menus, and fall festival decor. Fall Fest will remain open seven days a week. Fall Fest will feature all the vibes, a brand new food menu, pumpkin carving, fall cocktails, hot spiked beverages, live entertainment, Oktoberfest and a Halloween Party (on October 30th).
